Ingredi PURE-DENT B700 Corn Starch is manufactured and packaged by GPC in a bulk 50 pound bag. 

Corn Starch acts as a general thickening agent in foods like salad dressings, puddings, bakery fillings, and gravies. It provides two times the thickening compared to flour. It also works as an anti-caking agent and is used in applications like shredded cheese to prevent clumping. Corn Starch absorbs moisture and prevents a slimy texture from developing. 

As an ingredient in personal care products, Corn Starch is used as an absorbent in cosmetics with or in place of talc. In powder cosmetics, corn starch lends a silky but dry feel and absorbs excess oil without looking cakey. Cornstarch is also used as a thickening agent in skin-care products

Specifications 

Ingredi PURE-DENT B700 Corn Starch is Proposition 65 compliant. It is also Pareve, Kosher, and Halal certified. It is food grade and in current compliance with 21 CRF 184.1444. 

Characteristics 

Ingredi Corn Starch is a white, granular powder giving off a typical starch odor. It has a pH level of 5-7 and is stable under normal conditions.
