US Natural Undecalactone Gamma, also known as Aldehyde C-14, is manufactured and packaged by Tilley Chemical in bulk 25 kilogram (55 pound) steel drums.

Gamma-Undecalactone, also known as Aldehyde C-14, is a flavor and fragrance building block. Given its strong, sweet, & fruity odor, typical uses are in products like soaps, cosmetics, & perfumes.  It can be used in food grade applications as well, including yogurts, baked goods, candies, and beverages where it lends its primarily peach flavor profile.

Specifications

Ingredi US Natural Undecalactone Gamma does not contain any components listed on California Proposition 65.  It is considered food grade in accordance with The Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 & United States Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

It is also certified to be GMO free in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003, (EC) No 1830/2003 and Directive No (EC) 18/2001 & BE component free as defined in 7 CFR 66 by the (USDA).

Gamma-Undecalactone is certified as a Kosher product.

Characteristics

It is a slightly viscous colorless to yellow liquid. This product has a strong creamy-fruity sweet aroma similar to fruits like peach, apricot, and coconut. It is soluble in alcohol and fixed oils, but not in water.

Storage

Tilley Distribution guarantees a shelf life of 1 year when stored in cool dark place in a sealed container. This will prevent degradation of the product.
