Ingredi Sorbitol Solution is a humectant used in beverages and foods like confections. It brings flavor and body to sugar-free recipes, as well as to pharmaceuticals. 

As an ingredient in personal care products, Sorbitol is used in a wide range of products including lip balms, lotions, baby shampoos and hair grooming aids as a moisturizer as well as a flavoring agent.

As an ingredient in vitamins & supplements, Sorbitol is a low calorie flavoring substitute.

Characteristics 

Sorbitol Solution is a clear, odorless syrup. It gives off a sweet and bland taste and has a pH (14% solution) value of 5.0-7.5. The solution contains about 71% solids made of D-Sorbitol with a small amount of mannitol and other polyhydric alcohols.
