Raspberry Ketone is a phenolic compound that give raspberry fruit their sour and sweet aroma. It also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and possible weight loss properties. These Ketones have a number of applications from providing color and aroma to personal care products like soaps and lotions. It is used in the Nutraceutical space as a natural antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and possible weight loss supplement of performance additive.

Characteristics

It is a pale yellow to white crystalline powder with a very sweet, fruity warm odor resembling raspberry. It is soluble in alcohol and oils with a melting point of 75 - 86 °C
