Maltrin M-100 is a widely used sweetener in the food industry. Commonly found in products like seasoning packs or BBQ rubs, maltodextrin is the perfect ingredient to keep individual components from separating. This prevents oxidation and thus, increases shelf life. As a stabilizer, Maltrin M-100 works seamlessly in ice cream, margarine, mayonnaise, and salad dressings.

Specifications

MALTRIN® maltodextrins are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) as direct food ingredients at levels consistent with good manufacturing practices (21 CFR 184.1444). The correct labeling is “maltodextrin”, but all label declarations should be reviewed with appropriate legal counsel.

Characteristics

Its appearance is a white, free flowing powder and it is taste and odor free so it will not change the flavor of the end product while improving its characteristics.
