Clintose Dextrose A is a brand of crystallized Dextrose Monohydrate manufactured and packaged by Archer Daniels Midland in a bulk 50 pound bag. 

Dextrose is widely used in baking products and desserts. It can also be used as a filler or texturing agent. The substance is commonly found in pretzels, crackers, cake mixes, and cookies. 

Specifications 

Clintose Dextrose A is affirmed GRAS under 21 CFR 168.111 and meets both USP and FCC Specifications. It is Kosher and Halal certified. 

Characteristics 

Clintose Dextrose A has a mildly sweet flavor, high fermentability, and a negative heat solution. It is a white, free-flowing crystal that is odorless. It is also soluble and stable under normal conditions.
