Trilon@ NA is designed to control trace metal ions which may be responsible for catalyzing discoloration, oxidation, turbidity, corrosion, texture deterioration, the development of off-flavor and rancidity, or other deteriorative changes in food and beverage products during processing or storage. BASF Trilon NA is often more effective at overcoming deteriorative changes in foods and beverages than other types of sequestrant additives (i.e. polyphosphates and citric acid.) BASF Trilon NA is also suitable for use in a variety of cosmetics formulations.
Characteristics
BASF Trilon NA meets all requirements in the current Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and is FDA approved for use in a wide range of food products. Trilon NA bears the OU symbol, Kosher and Kosher Pareve for year round use, under certification of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.
