Vstearin Stearic Acid is derived from renewable, natural animal fats and vegetable oils. Stearic acid is a fully saturated molecule. It is solid at room temperature. It can be used in a variety of applications such as soaps, fabric conditioners, paper products, crayons and tires. 

Stearic Acid in cosmetic and personal care products functions as a cleanser, lubricant and softening agent. Additionally, it acts as a thickener and surfactant in creams, lotions, detergents, soaps, shaving cream, body washes and hair care products. 

Specifications 

Vstearin SA 11 is a saturated straight chain aliphatic monocarboxylic acids mainly palmitic and stearic acids. 

Characteristics 

Solid at room temperature in a flake form that is white in color.
