My family uses phosphoric acid to balance the pH of our well water. Unfortunately our well water is basic and also has bacteria which produces sulfur. We can not treat the sulfur producing bacteria without first lowering the pH. We are currently being charged $120 + delivery fee for 5 gallon carboys from Culligan. This provides us with a much more economical solution.
