Nonalactone Gamma also known Aldehyde C-18 isa colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is used as a Flavor and Fragrance to add a rich, tropical aroma. It is similar to coconut with creamy and fatty undertones. Applications range from odor masking products to coconut flavored candy.

Ingredi Nonalactone Gamma does not contain any components listed on California Proposition 65.  It is considered food grade in accordance with The Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 & United States Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

Characteristics

Ingredi Nonalactone Gamma has a coconut-like, fruity odor.  It is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid, soluble in alcohol and ether. It is insoluble in water.

Storage

Tilley Distribution guarantees a shelf life of 2 years when kept in its original unopened container.  This should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
