Sorbitol Crystalline NF/FCC is a coarse powder manufactured by Archer Daniels Midland and packaged in bulk 300 pound drums. 

Sorbitol Crystalline NF/FCC Granular and Powder that also goes by the name D-Glucitol. It is a widely used sugar replacement in solid applications where sucrose can be used. It helps create a reduced caloric content while maintaining sweetness. Sorbitol Crystalline is an efficient humectant and is used in baked goods, frozen desserts, fruits, icings, and soft confections.

Sorbitol Crystalline NF/FCC, manufactured by Archer Daniels Midland, is Halal and Kosher certified. It is FDA approved and GRAS. Additionally, it is allergen free and complies with all requirements of the USNF and FCC. 

Characteristics 

Sorbitol Crystalline NF/FCC is a hygroscopic powder and granular material. It is a white free-flowing powder with a pH (10% solution) of 3.5-7.0. It has a semi-sweet flavor, is slightly soluble in alcohol and methanol acetic acid, and is soluble in water. Sorbitol Crystalline also has a very slight odor. The substance is stable under normal conditions, but easily absorbs moisture.
