Citronellol is manufactured and packaged by Tilley Chemical in bulk 170 kilogram (375 pound) steel drums.

Citronellol is a natural terpene compound from the Citronella plant with citrus and rose aromatic notes.  It has applications in the fragrance and cosmetic space because of its aroma and antimicrobial properties. Its main use is in insect repellents to repel bugs away from an area or from biting your skin.

Specifications

Ingredi Citronellol does not contain any components listed on California Proposition 65. This product does not contain gluten according to requirements defined by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 101.91 and the EU Commission Implementing Regulation No 828/2014.  Citronellol is certified both Kosher and Halal, free of ethyl alcohol nor is derived from an animal source.

Characteristics

Citronellol is a colorless to pale yellow oily liquid.  It has a clean fresh rose-like odor.

Storage

Tilley Distribution guarantees a shelf life of 2 years when left in its unopened container.  Should be kept in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
