Food & Pharmaceutical Grade Xanthan Gum is a popularly used thickening agent all across the food, beverage and nutrition industry. It can be used as a suspension aide evenly dispersing solids in a liquid product. It has emulsification properties preventing the separation in products like dressings.
It is also used in the gluten-free baking space providing elasticity and mouthfeel to breads and doughs. Xanthan Gum is found in products like sports nutiriton powder beverages, gluten free baking goods, ice cream, dressing, and so much more.

Characteristics
Xanthan Gum is an 80 Mesh, white or yellowish-white, free-flowing powder, having a typical odour and taste, soluble in water giving a highly viscous solution, practically insoluble in organic solvents.
Storage
Jungbunzlauer guarantees a shelf life of 3 years for Xanthan Gum from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool (max. 30 °C) and dry (max. 70% rel. humidity) place in closed containers.
The use of a preservative is recommended when solutions of xanthan gum are to be stored for
more than 24 hours.
