Thermal Charge PG (275 Gallon Tote) Inhibited Propylene Glycol-Based, Colorless Nonflammable Heat Transfer Fluid Registered with NSF HT1 for Incidental Food Contact
Thermal Charge PG (275 Gallon Tote) is an inhibited propylene glycol (PG) based heat transfer fluid formulated to deliver premium low toxicity heat transfer fluid to your heating and secondary cooling applications, while simutaneously protecting against freezing and bursting pipes.
This clear Heat Transfer Fluid is registered with NSF as an H1 product, ensuring it is acceptable for use with applications where there is potential for incidental food contact, such as food processing and beverage applications.
Thermal Charge PG is designed with superior fouling/corrosion resistance, constructed to neutralize degradation components, prevent drops in pH, and posseses freeze protection in temperatures as low as -50°F (-46°C) and prevents bursting pipes up to 306°F.
Thermal Charge PG's propylene glycol base delivers comparable performance to Ethylene Glycol Based Antifreeze/Coolants but with significantly less toxicity, since the flash and fire points of ethylene glycol are above the boiling point of water, glycols present little fire hazard in storage or handling when mixed with water of 20% concentrations or greater.
While Thermal Charge PG is substantially less toxic than the ethylene glycol based coolants, it is compatible, though mixing will lessen the lower toxicity properties of Fleet Charge PG.
