I use it to remove semi transparent stain off of cedar siding. Mix it up strong spray on it and let it dwell for 15 minutes and then lightly pressure wash with around 800 psi. It removed two coats of semi transparent stain that I applied years before. Oxalate acid lightens the wood after cleaning.
