Glycerine USP, GMO-Free is 99.7% Glycerin from Palm Kernel Oil and is a certified Kosher product and packaging. It is manufactured by AcidChem and packaged in a 2800 pound tote (Aprox. 275 gal.)

Glycerin is derived from palm kernel oil and is primarily used in the baking and brewing industry. It is made from naturally occurring vegetable sources and is GMO-free. Other uses include pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and industrial.

As an ingredient in personal care products, Glycerin is used in cosmetic, soaps, toothpaste, shaving cream, and skin and hair care products.  After water, glycerin is the most frequently used cosmetic ingredient. It is a humectant which prevents the premature loss of moisture from cosmetics and personal care products so they don’t dry out. This also make it a great choice for hair conditioning products. Additionally, Glycerin is a outstanding skin moisturizer. 

When used as a dietary supplement, Glycerin is used to relieve constipation due to it moisture absorption properties. Additionally, it improves hydration for better physical performance compared to water alone.

Ingredi Glycerin is Kosher and Halal certified. It is also certified under ISO 22000 and ISO 9001. Glycerin 99.7% USP is produced under GMP/HACCP guidelines and does not contain any additives, preservatives, or allergens. 

Characteristics

Glycerin USP is colorless and hygroscopic. It emits a slightly milky odor and is viscous. Viscosity level greatly increases at temperatures of -10°C and lower.
