AnyAddy MC40H is a highly viscous (4000 cPs) food grade methylcellulose product that works in multiple food applications. Methylcellulose is considered a modified natural hydrocolloid. The process starts with either wood pulp or cotton linter then these feedstocks are broken down to its smaller components and lastly a cellulose is purified into a powder. MC40H properties includes film formation, binding, product thickening, oil uptake reduction, is anti-boiling out and improves freeze/thaw stability.

You can find methylcellulose used in products like salad dressings (dry mix/pourable), glazes, as well as batter​ mixes for meat, poultry & seafood.
