ViCALity Light Precipitated Calcium Carbonate or PPC is formulated for beverage, brewing, drugs, nutrition, and personal care products. More specific uses include being a main ingredient in viscous cream products, powdered beverages, clear beverages when pre-reacted with food, and acts as a flavor carrier or absorbent. Precipitated Calcium Carbonate is a mineral additive.

Characteristics

ViCALity Light Calcium Carbonate is a solid white, odorless powder. The substance is low density with a high oil absorption and high surface area rate. It helps to build viscosity in liquids and pastes. At 40% calcium, it contributes to the nutrition of the Beverage and Brewing products it is in. Calcium Carbonate has a pH level of 9.8 and has a 0.2% moisture level. It is insoluble in water at a pH of 7, but soluble in acid. It is certified non-GMO and non-dairy.
