ADM's Sodium Citrate Granular is white crystalline granular crystals that are freely soluble in water with many applications ranging from the processed cheese, nutritional pre-workout powders, pharmaceuticals, laundry care, and traditional beverages. It is produced via fermentation of Gluten-free and non-GMO Corn to produce citric acid, which is then neutralized by Sodium Hydroxide or Sodium Carbonate to obtain Tri Sodium Citrate, resulting in a soluble and highly stable compound.

It is used as a pH adjuster for the food beverage and nutrition industry and used as a biodegradable detergent builder in house care products to replace unwanted phosphates in formulas.
