Clintose CR 10 Maltodextrin powder is manufactured and packaged by Archer Daniels Midland in bulk 50 pound bags.

Maltodextrin is a non-sweet substance. It is considered a highly versatile sugar in the food and beverage industry and it also functions as a thickening agent. It is ideal for foods in bulk with a liquid or gelatin-like texture, and it is a natural flavor enhancer.

Maltodextrin is used in protein shakes, desserts, canned fruits, sauces, and instant pudding. It has similar properties to sugar, and turns liquid or oily substances into powders. It can also prevent grainy textures from occurring over time in frozen products. It has high fermentability, negative heat of solution, natural flavor enhancement, and a mild sweetness, making it highly versatile.

Specifications

Clintose CR 10 Maltodextrin is Food Grade and is GRAS under CFR 21 184.1444 and CFR 168.111. It also meets FCC and USP specs. It is Kosher certified and preservative free.

Characteristics

Maltodextrin is a white, odorless powder that displays soluble and non-hydroscopic features. It has a bland taste and a pH value of 4.0-5.5.
