Cinnamon Oleoresin (Cassia) is a liquid product used as a flavoring agent in food ingredients. It belongs to the spice and seasoning flavor family, specifically offering a cinnamon flavor.  It is used in aromatherapy to provide a warm spicy note to soaps and other personal care products.

Cinnamon Oleoresin contains methylene chloride listed on California Proposition 65.  

It is also certified to be GMO free in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003, (EC) No 1830/2003 and Directive No (EC) 18/2001, BE component free as defined in 7 CFR 66 by the (USDA), & natural within the meaning defined in US 21 CFR 101.22 of the US Code of Federal Regulations and within the meaning defined in Regulation (EC) 1334/2008 of the EU Parliament on flavorings and certain food ingredients with flavoring properties for use in and on foods. 

Cinnamon Oleoresin is certified both Kosher and Halal, free of ethyl alcohol nor is derived from an animal source.

Characteristics

Ingredi Cinnamon Oleoresin has a warm, spicy-sweet, tenacious odor, similar to that of cinnamon. It is a brown to green liquid that is pourable at room temperature.

Storage

Tilley Distribution guarantees a shelf life of 2 years when kept in its original unopened container.  The product should be kept in a cool dry place away from heat and sunlight.
