Ascorbic Acid, manufactured and packaged by Northeast Pharmaceutical wholesale in a bulk 25 kilogram (50 pound) carton.

Ascorbic Acid powder is more commonly know as Vitamin C. Bulk ascorbic acid is widely used in many fields such as food, beverage, breeding and forage additives.

Some of its main functions include:

  • Immune stimulation
  • Anti-allergy
  • Antioxidant
  • “Cement” for connective tissues
  • Wound healing
  • Teeth and gum health
  • Eye health
  • Supplement for daily requirements
  • Food Additive (Preservative, texture improver, prevent discoloration)
  • Preservative for injectable medicines

Vitamin C takes part in many metabolism procedures in the human body, helps decrease brittleness of blood capillaries, and increase body resistance. It is an acidulant, creating a sour taste in food and beverage products. It supports the immune system by stimulating white blood cell production, helps produce collagen, and absorb iron.

Ascorbic Acid is also widely used in personal care products. Cosmetics benefit from its ability to increase collagen production, aid tissue repair, and for the synthesis of neurotransmitters. It also acts as an antioxidant and plays a role in resistance to infections, and is used for the treatment and prevention of scurvy. Additionally, Ascorbic Acid is commonly found in hair care products such as shampoo and conditioners. It is also effective in pool stain removal.

Specifications

Ingredi Ascorbic Acid / Vitamin C produced by NGPG meets the requirements of European Pharmacopeia (EP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and E300. It is certified by ISO9001.
