Fumaric Acid refers to Ingredi's food processing additive Fumaric Acid. This ingredient is common in both baked goods and beverages as a preservative and as the acid in leavening.  Fumaric Acid can also be a substitute for tartaric acid and occasionally in place of citric acid to provide sour flavoring.
