Celatom FP-4 Diatomaceous Earth is a Filter Pink, calcined diatomaceous earth Filter Aid and is manufactured and packaged by EP Minerals in a bulk 50 pound bag. 

Diatomaceous Earth is a filter aid based used in precoat filtration of industrial wastewater. It increases the solid contents of sludge and reduces the total volume of sludge that needs to be disposed. The filter aids have a wide range of filtration capabilities and particle size removal properties.

Characteristics 

Celatom FP-4 Diatomaceous Earth is a flux-calcined diatomaceous earth (DE) material that ranges in color from buff to pink powder. It is an odorless solid that has a pH value of 7 (10% suspension). Less than 1% is soluble in water. Sieve Analysis (Tyler) 0-10% @ 150 Mesh (>105 microns), The filter has a permeability range of 260-440 millidarcies. The material is not reactive under normal conditions.
